Closter Public Schools is proud to announce Raising the Resilient Child — A Parenting Series, a four-session program designed to help families support their children’s social-emotional growth and well-being.
Aligned with the Hillside ICARE and Tenakill CharacterStrong programs, the series will be presented by Josephine Hunt, pre-k teacher, and will take place at Tenakill Middle School, 275 High Street, Closter, NJ 07631. All sessions begin at 7:00 p.m.
The four sessions are as follows:
- Session 1 — Why Resilience Matters: What Today’s Children are Navigating
Wednesday, February 11, 2026 - Session 2 — Raising Resilient Learners at Home: Language, Limits, and Life Skills
Wednesday, March 11, 2026 - Session 3 — Resilience in School: What it Looks Like in Classrooms, Hallways, and Friendships
Wednesday, April 8, 2026 - Session 4 — Home and School Together: Shared Strategies That Support the Whole Child
