Closter Public Schools is proud to announce that Josephine Hunt, PreK teacher at Hillside Elementary School, has been selected as the 2025–2026 Ringelheim Award recipient by the New Jersey Council for Exceptional Children. The Ringelheim Award is presented to an educator who exemplifies the legacy of Dan Ringelheim and his lifelong commitment to improving education for children with disabilities across the United States. Ms. Hunt was honored with a plaque at the New Jersey Council for Exceptional Children’s Annual Spring Convention on Monday, March 16, 2026. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Hunt for this well-deserved recognition of her dedicated service to the students of Closter Public Schools!
