As part of Closter’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, students in grades three and four and grades six through eight put pen to paper to reflect on this milestone in our nation’s history. Their thoughtful and inspiring essays represent the very best of our young writers.
We are proud to congratulate the first-, second-, and third-place winners at each grade level, who received trophies from the Borough of Closter’s Rev250 Committee. Thank you to the committee for recognizing our students’ talents, and to everyone who came out to celebrate this special occasion together.
